Inline Removals respects the privacy of every individual. We are committed to safeguarding any information that you give to us directly or may be communicated to us as a necessary part of a contract to deliver our services to you. This statement outlines what information we may collect, how we use that information and why and for how long we keep it.

What information do we collect?

We may collect and store the information you send to us directly via the Inline Removals website that is considered sensitive by the General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (GDPR). Where we are providing you with a direct service it will, clearly, be necessary for us to collect, process and store personal information in order to undertake the works required.  Or we may need to collect information where we have been appointed to provide a subcontracted service.

Why do we request this information?


The information is collected and stored by us as it may be required in order;

  • To process any client/customer orders and ensure payments are made. If you do not provide personal information we ask for, it may delay or prevent us from providing services to you.
  • We may also request this information from you for marketing purposes. This is necessary for our legitimate interests in promoting our services to business customers. Under data protection law, we can only use your personal information if we have a proper reason for doing so, e.g.

We are continually developing our services based on information and feedback we receive from our clients, customers and visitors to our website, which we may share with you.

Retention of Information


We will retain personal information in secure conditions for a period necessary to fulfil the provision of the service as contracted with you and to ensure that we can more efficiently and effectively undertake any repeat/further requests of the provision of a removal or storage service. In the case of a removal, we will retain information for a period of five years following the completion date of the removal. For personal information in respect of storage, we will retain the information for a period of five years following the termination of the storage contract/agreement.

Security / Breaches of Data

We store and protect your information in our offices and/or on a “Cloud” based database. We will take every reasonable technical and organisational precaution to prevent loss, misuse or alteration of the personal information you provide.

All computers and cloud logins are password protected. We monitor our computers for breaches of data and will inform all clients that have been affected by this breach.

Our IT-based systems are penetration tested regularly to ensure that we identify as soon as practicable, any weaknesses or breaches of our systems in order that we ensure that the highest levels of information security. We are aware of our obligations of reporting any breaches and take very seriously our responses and rectification of any possible breach.

Access to IT held and other traditionally held information by employees is strictly restricted to authorised staff on a strict “need to know basis” as set out in our Data Protection Policy, IT use Policy and this Privacy Statement.

Third party websites

The Inline Removals website may contain links to external websites that have been created, edited or maintained by third parties. Inline Removals does not accept any responsibility for the privacy policies or practices of third parties.

Your rights

Inline Removals fully complies with all aspects of the General Data Protection Regulation (2016). You may request copies of the personal information we hold about you or request to amend any factual inaccuracies or delete any personal information we have on record.

You have a right to complain to the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) if you think there is a problem with the way your data is being handled.

Subject access requests

If you make a request under your rights above, please note the following:

We will not charge you for complying with your request.

Inline Removals has a month to respond and/or comply.

Inline Removals does, however, reserve the right to refuse or charge for requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive.

If Inline Removals refuses a request, we are obligated to tell you why and that you have the right to complain to the supervisory authority and to a judicial remedy. We must do this at the latest, within a month.
